Ryobi RY803023 Operator's Manual

To start the Ryobi RY803023 Washer, ensure the water supply is connected and turned on. Set the choke lever to the start position, move the throttle to the fast position, then pull the recoil starter grip until the engine fires.
If the washer won't start, check the fuel level and ensure the switch is in the "ON" position. Inspect the spark plug for damage or wear, and ensure the choke lever is in the correct position.
For low pressure issues, check for blockages in the nozzle or hose, ensure the water supply is adequate, and inspect the inlet filter for debris. Also, verify that the unloader valve is functioning properly.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil after 50 hours of use, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and clearing any debris from the nozzle and hose.
To clean the air filter, remove the cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm soapy water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. Replace if it shows signs of wear or damage.
Inspect all hoses and connections for tightness and damage. Check the pump and seals for any cracks or wear. Replace any faulty components to stop the leak.
For off-season storage, drain all water from the pump and hoses, add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank, and store the washer in a dry, protected area. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starts.
To change the oil, run the engine briefly to warm the oil, then turn it off and remove the oil cap. Tilt the washer to drain the oil into a container, then refill with new oil according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
To prevent overheating, ensure the washer is used in a well-ventilated area, avoid running the engine for extended periods without breaks, and regularly check and clean the air filter.
