To change the blade, unplug the saw, use the wrench provided to loosen the arbor nut, remove the old blade, place the new blade onto the arbor, and tighten the arbor nut securely. Ensure the teeth of the blade are facing in the correct direction.
Check if the power cord is properly plugged in, inspect the power outlet, and ensure the switch is in the 'on' position. If the problem persists, check the saw's fuse or circuit breaker.
Regularly clean the saw's components, especially the blade guard and motor vents. Lubricate the moving parts as per the user manual and ensure the blade is sharp and correctly aligned.
To align the blade, loosen the bevel adjustment lever, adjust the angle until the blade is perpendicular to the base plate using a square, and then tighten the lever.
Store the saw in a dry, secure place away from children. Ensure the blade is retracted or covered, and the power cord is wound up neatly.
Excessive noise may indicate a dull blade, misalignment, or debris in the motor. Inspect the blade for sharpness, ensure it's properly aligned, and clean the motor area.
Always wear protective gear, such as safety glasses and hearing protection. Ensure the work area is clean and well-lit, and never operate the saw when tired or under the influence of substances.
Use a sharp, appropriate blade for the material, secure the workpiece firmly, and make sure the base plate is flat against the cutting surface.
For cutting hardwood, use a blade with a higher tooth count, typically 40 or more teeth, to achieve a smoother finish.
Check if the blade is sharp and properly aligned, ensure the saw is stable during use, and verify that the material is securely clamped.
