Rotel RT-850 Owner's Manual

To connect the Rotel RT-850 Tuner to your amplifier, use RCA cables to connect the tuner's output jacks to the amplifier's input jacks. Ensure left and right channels are correctly matched.
Check the antenna connection to ensure it is securely attached. Also, verify that the tuner is set to the correct band (AM/FM) and that the station frequency is correctly tuned.
Try adjusting the position of the FM antenna for better reception. You may also consider using an external FM antenna for stronger signal strength.
First, check the power connection to ensure the tuner is receiving power. If the problem persists, the display may need servicing. Contact an authorized Rotel service center.
To preset stations, tune to the desired station, then press and hold the preset button until the display flashes. Release the button and the station is saved.
The Rotel RT-850 Tuner has analog outputs, so you will need a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) if you want to connect it to a digital audio system.
Static noise can be caused by poor antenna reception or interference from electronic devices. Ensure the antenna is properly positioned and away from other electronics.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the tuner, then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the display shows a reset message. Release the button to complete the reset.
Regularly dust the tuner with a soft cloth and check antenna connections for corrosion. Avoid placing the tuner in direct sunlight or humid environments.
The Rotel RT-850 Tuner does not support firmware updates. Ensure all connections and settings are correct to maintain optimal performance.
