To load multiple discs, press the 'Open/Close' button to open the disc tray. Place up to 5 discs in the tray, ensuring that each disc is securely seated in its respective slot. Press the 'Open/Close' button again to close the tray.
First, check if the disc is correctly placed and not upside down. Clean the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints. If the issue persists, try a different disc to determine if the problem is with the disc itself or the player.
Use a pair of RCA cables to connect the audio output jacks on the back of the RCC-955 to the input jacks on your amplifier. Ensure that the left and right channel connections match on both devices.
Regularly clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any abrasive cleaners or solvents. Periodically check the disc tray for dust accumulation and gently clean it if necessary.
To reset the RCC-955, turn off the power, then unplug the unit from the power source for about 30 seconds. Plug it back in and turn it on. This will reset the system to its default settings.
Ensure the unit is powered on and not in standby mode. Check for any physical obstructions around the tray. If the problem persists, try a power cycle by turning the unit off, unplugging it, and then plugging it back in.
Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source. Carefully open the disc tray manually if possible and gently remove the stuck disc. Inspect the disc and tray for any debris or damage.
Press the 'Repeat' button on the remote control to cycle through the available repeat modes. You can choose to repeat a single track, the entire disc, or all loaded discs. Confirm your selection by pressing 'Play'.
The Rotel RCC-955 is designed to play standard audio CDs. It does not support MP3 or other digital audio file formats.
Check the disc for scratches, dirt, or fingerprints and clean it if necessary. Ensure the RCC-955 is on a stable surface to avoid vibrations. If skipping continues, try a different disc to determine if the issue is with the player or the disc.
