To set up your Roberts Gemini RD45, plug in the radio, extend the antenna, and press the power button. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for DAB stations.
Ensure the antenna is fully extended. Try repositioning the radio near a window or higher location. Perform a factory reset and rescan for stations.
Adjust the bass and treble settings in the menu. Ensure the radio is placed on a stable surface, away from walls or obstructions that might cause interference.
To perform a factory reset, go to the menu, select 'System', then 'Factory Reset'. Confirm the reset when prompted. This will erase all settings and presets.
Enter the menu, select 'Manual Tune', and use the navigation buttons to select the desired frequency. Press 'Select' to tune into that frequency.
Press the 'Alarm' button, select 'Alarm 1' or 'Alarm 2', set the time using the navigation buttons, and choose the sound source (DAB/FM/Buzzer).
Check the Roberts website for firmware updates. Download the update file to a USB drive, plug it into the RD45, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
Use the headphone or line-out socket to connect external speakers. Ensure the volume is adjusted accordingly on both the radio and the speakers.
Check the power connection and ensure the radio is turned on. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset or contact customer support for further assistance.
Tune to the desired station, press and hold one of the preset buttons until you hear a beep, indicating the station has been saved to that preset.
