To set up your Pure Evoke 1XT, plug the radio into a power source, extend the aerial, and press the power button. The radio will automatically start scanning for available DAB stations. Once the scan is complete, you can navigate through the stations using the tuning knob.
Ensure that the aerial is fully extended and positioned for optimal reception. Try moving the radio to a different location, preferably near a window. You can also perform a full scan by pressing the Menu button, selecting 'Autotune,' and choosing 'Full scan.'
To improve sound quality, make sure the radio is placed on a solid, flat surface to avoid vibrations. Try adjusting the equalizer settings by pressing the Menu button, navigating to 'Audio Settings,' and selecting 'Bass' or 'Treble' to customize the sound to your preference.
To clean your Pure Evoke 1XT, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using water or cleaning agents. Regularly check the aerial connection and dust the speaker grille to maintain optimal performance.
To perform a factory reset, press the Menu button, navigate to 'Settings,' choose 'Factory Reset,' and confirm your selection. This will erase all presets and settings, returning the radio to its original state.
Yes, you can connect headphones to the 3.5mm audio output jack located on the side of the radio. Make sure to adjust the volume to a comfortable level before listening.
To set an alarm, press the Menu button, go to 'Alarm Settings,' and select 'Add Alarm.' Set the time, choose the days for repetition, and select the alarm sound source. Confirm your settings to activate the alarm.
Check the power connection and ensure the radio is switched on. If the display remains unresponsive, try a power cycle by unplugging the radio for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
To save a station as a preset, tune to your desired station, then press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-6) until you see confirmation on the display. You can recall the station by simply pressing the corresponding preset button.
The Pure Evoke 1XT does not support firmware updates due to its hardware design. For any performance issues, refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual or contact customer support.
