To calibrate the OmniScan MX2, navigate to the calibration settings in the main menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to perform a standard calibration using a reference block. Ensure your probes are correctly connected and the temperature conditions are stable.
Check the power connection and ensure the battery is charged. Verify that the power button is functioning by pressing it firmly. If the device still does not power on, try using a different power adapter or battery. If the issue persists, contact Olympus technical support.
Connect the OmniScan MX1 to your computer using a USB cable. Access the file management system on the device and select the data files you wish to export. Use the export function to transfer the files to your computer. Ensure your computer recognizes the device as a removable storage.
Regular maintenance for the OmniScan MX series includes cleaning the device with a soft, dry cloth, inspecting cables and connectors for wear, updating the software to the latest version, and conducting periodic calibrations. Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

The OmniScan MX1 can be used in high-temperature inspections with the appropriate high-temperature probes and couplants. Always refer to the probe and couplant specifications to ensure they are rated for the temperatures you will encounter.
