To replace the ribbon cartridge, first turn off the printer and open the top cover. Remove the old ribbon by lifting it out of the printer. Install the new ribbon by aligning it with the print head and snapping it into place. Close the top cover and turn the printer back on.
If your Oki ML1120 is printing blank pages, check if the ribbon cartridge is properly installed and not empty. Ensure the print head is functioning correctly and that the paper is loaded appropriately.
To clear a paper jam, turn off the printer and gently remove any stuck paper. Open the top cover and check for any remaining paper pieces. Re-load the paper correctly before closing the cover and turning the printer back on.
Connect the Oki ML1120 printer to your computer using a parallel or USB cable. Install the necessary drivers from the Oki website or the provided CD. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
If prints are poor or streaky, check the ribbon cartridge for wear and replace it if necessary. Clean the print head and ensure it is aligned correctly. Run a test print to verify the quality.
To adjust the print head gap, turn the adjustment lever located on the right side of the printer. Adjust according to the thickness of the paper you are using. Ensure the printer is off while making this adjustment.
