To replace the toner cartridge, open the top cover, remove the exhausted cartridge by pulling it up, and install a new cartridge by aligning it with the guides and gently sliding it into place until it clicks. Close the top cover to complete the process.
Streaky prints can be caused by a dirty drum or roller. Clean the printer’s LED heads and check for any toner spillage inside the printer. If the problem persists, consider replacing the drum unit.
The Oki C711WT does not have built-in wireless connectivity. Use a wireless print server or connect the printer to a network through an Ethernet cable to enable wireless printing.
Ensure that the white toner cartridge is correctly installed and compatible with the printer. Power cycle the printer and update the printer firmware if necessary. If the issue persists, try installing a different white toner cartridge.
To perform a factory reset, navigate to the printer’s control panel, select “Menu,” go to “Admin Setup,” choose “Maintenance Menu,” and select “Factory Defaults.” Confirm the reset when prompted.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the LED heads, checking for and removing any paper jams, replacing toner cartridges and drum units as needed, and ensuring the printer firmware is up to date.
First, turn off the printer and open the appropriate covers. Carefully remove any jammed paper, ensuring no pieces are left inside. Check the paper paths for obstructions and reload the paper tray correctly before closing the covers.
When the "Replace Drum" message appears, purchase and install a new drum unit. Follow the instructions provided in the printer's manual to replace the drum safely. Reset the drum counter after installation.
To print a configuration page, press the "Menu" button on the printer, navigate to "Print Information," and select "Configuration." Press "Enter" to print the page.
Slow printing can be caused by high-resolution settings or a large print job. Reduce the print resolution in the printer settings for faster output. Ensure that the printer is connected to a high-speed network and that the firmware is up to date.
