To perform a factory reset on the Oki MB460 printer, navigate to the printer's menu, select 'Admin Setup', then 'Factory Default', and confirm the reset. This will restore all settings to their original defaults.
Ensure the network cable is securely connected. Verify network settings in the printer menu. Restart both the printer and the router. Check for IP address conflicts and ensure the printer's firmware is up to date.
Turn off the printer and carefully open the paper tray and rear cover. Gently remove any jammed paper, making sure not to tear it. Close all covers and turn the printer back on.
Open the front cover of the printer, remove the used toner cartridge, and insert a new one. Make sure it clicks into place. Close the cover and follow the on-screen instructions if any.
Check the toner level and replace if necessary. Clean the LED head and ensure the paper type setting matches the paper being used. Adjust the print density settings in the printer menu.
The Oki MB460 does not support wireless printing directly. Consider connecting it to a networked computer or using a wireless print server for wireless capability.
Regularly clean the printer's exterior and interior, ensure the paper path is clear, and replace consumables such as the toner and drum as needed. Run the printer's cleaning cycle periodically.
Download the latest firmware from the Oki website. Connect the printer to your computer via USB, run the firmware update utility, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Ensure the toner cartridge is installed correctly and not empty. Check the print queue for any errors and ensure that the correct paper size is selected. Restart the printer to reset its settings.
Access the printer settings on your computer, select 'Printer Preferences', and enable duplex printing. Ensure the paper tray is loaded correctly for double-sided printing.
