Nintendo Pikmin 3 Electronic Manual

To switch between different types of Pikmin, use the D-pad on your controller to quickly cycle through the available Pikmin types in your squad.
Plan your day by prioritizing tasks such as gathering fruit, building bridges, and defeating enemies. Always return to the ship before sunset to avoid losing Pikmin.
Use the right type of Pikmin for each enemy. For example, use Red Pikmin for fire-based enemies and Blue Pikmin for water-based ones. Surround enemies and attack from behind for maximum efficiency.
If Pikmin are stuck, try whistling them back with the B button or use the map to manually direct them to a safe location.
To increase your Pikmin population, gather pellets and defeated enemy corpses and bring them to an Onion or the S.S. Drake to convert them into new Pikmin.
Use the GamePad to view the map and plan routes. You can also use it to issue commands to other captains and manage your Pikmin more efficiently.
Pikmin 3 automatically saves your progress at the end of each day. Ensure you complete your tasks before sunset to ensure your progress is saved.
First, ensure your game and console are updated to the latest version. Try restarting your console or checking for corrupted data in your system settings.
To replay a specific day, access the options menu from the main screen and select the "Replay Day" feature, then choose the day you wish to replay.
Each Pikmin type has unique abilities: Red Pikmin are fire-resistant, Blue Pikmin can breathe underwater, Yellow Pikmin are immune to electricity, Rock Pikmin can break hard objects, and Winged Pikmin can fly over hazards.
