To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. Run water through the dispenser for 3-5 minutes to clear any air and impurities.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils and ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked by food items. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
To reset the ice maker, turn off the ice maker at the control panel. Remove the ice bin and make sure the ice chute is not blocked. Wait a few minutes, then turn the ice maker back on and replace the ice bin.
To manually defrost the freezer, remove all food and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Use towels to soak up the water. Make sure to clean and dry the freezer before plugging it back in.
The recommended temperature setting for the refrigerator is between 37°F and 40°F (3°C to 4°C) and for the freezer, it is 0°F (-18°C). Adjust the settings using the control panel inside the fridge.
To clean the condenser coils, first unplug the refrigerator. Locate the coils usually at the back or bottom of the fridge. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris. Clean at least twice a year for optimal performance.
Water pooling can occur if the defrost drain is clogged. Clean the drain by flushing it with warm water using a turkey baster or a similar tool. Ensure the drain hose at the back is clear and properly attached.
To adjust the shelves, tilt the shelf up at the front and lift it out of the shelf racks. Place it at your desired height and push it back into place, ensuring it is level and securely positioned in the shelf racks.
Unusual noises can be due to the refrigerator being unlevel, items inside vibrating against each other, or the fan motor. Check and adjust the leveling feet, rearrange items inside, and ensure the refrigerator is not touching the wall.
To replace the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge and remove it. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the light cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
