To start the McCulloch TITANIUM M46S lawn mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is adequate. Set the throttle to the choke position if the engine is cold, then pull the starter rope firmly until the engine starts.
Check the fuel level and ensure it is fresh. Verify that the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Also, make sure the air filter is not clogged. If the mower still doesn't start, consult the user manual for additional troubleshooting steps.
It is recommended to change the oil in your McCulloch TITANIUM M46S lawn mower after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the wheels of the mower. Move the lever to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting height.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 for optimal performance. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
After use, turn off the mower and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to rinse the deck and remove grass clippings. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust. Avoid spraying water directly on the engine.
Before storing the mower, clean the deck and blades, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Remove the battery (if applicable) and store it in a cool, dry place.
To replace the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire and use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug. Install the new spark plug, ensuring it is properly gapped, and reattach the spark plug wire.
If performance decreases, check the air filter and clean or replace it if necessary. Ensure the blade is sharp and balanced. Also, check the fuel for contamination and replace it if needed.
Collect the old oil in a suitable container and take it to a local recycling center or authorized disposal facility. Do not pour it down drains or onto the ground.
