McCulloch M51–500 CMDW Spare Parts List

To start the McCulloch M51–500 CMDW Lawn Mower, ensure it is on a flat surface. Check the oil and fuel levels, then engage the safety handle and pull the starter cord firmly.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season.
Check for sufficient fuel, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and confirm that the air filter is not clogged.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with mild detergent and water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Regularly sharpen the blades, maintain the correct tire pressure, and adjust the cutting height for optimal performance.
Clean the mower, change the oil, check and sharpen the blades, and store it in a dry place. Consider draining the fuel or using a fuel stabilizer.
Locate the height adjustment levers on each wheel and move them to the desired cutting height setting. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height.
Excessive vibration may be caused by a damaged blade or loose parts. Inspect the blade for damage and tighten any loose bolts or components.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can clog the mower, cause uneven cutting, and increase the risk of slipping. Wait until the grass is dry.
