To start the lawn mower, first ensure that the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is adequate. Pull the throttle lever to the 'Start' position, then pull the starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
Use unleaded petrol with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than E10 as they may damage the engine.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season. Refer to the manual for the correct oil type.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and verify that the air filter is clean. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
Make sure the mower is turned off and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the cutting deck. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
Check the air filter before each use. Clean it by tapping gently to remove dirt. Replace the air filter once a season or if it appears damaged.
Remove the spark plug for safety, then detach the blade. Use a file or a sharpening tool to sharpen the blade evenly, maintaining the original angle. Balance the blade before reattaching.
Excessive vibration may be caused by an unbalanced blade or loose parts. Check the blade for damage and ensure all nuts and bolts are tightened. Replace the blade if necessary.
Locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting height uniformly across all wheels.
Clean the mower thoroughly and remove any debris. Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Store in a dry, sheltered location, and cover to protect from dust and moisture.
