To start the McCulloch Novolette Silent Lawn Mower, ensure the power source is connected if it's electric, or if manual, simply push the starter lever. Make sure the safety switch is engaged.
Check the blade for sharpness and alignment. Make sure the mower deck is level and the wheels are set at the same height. Adjust if necessary.
Sharpen the blades at least once per mowing season or more frequently if you notice the grass is not being cut cleanly.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade or debris caught in the mower. Inspect the blade for damage or imbalance and remove any debris under the deck.
Regularly clean the mower deck, check and tighten loose bolts, lubricate moving parts, and store it in a dry place. Check the blade for sharpness and wear.
Ensure the power source is connected and functioning. Check for any tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. If manual, verify that all safety switches are engaged and operational.
Locate the height adjustment lever near the wheels and move it to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set at the same height for an even cut.
For electric models, check the power cable and connections regularly. For manual models, ensure all mechanical parts are well lubricated and free of rust.
Disconnect the power source if applicable. Use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings from the blades and mower deck. Do not use water to avoid rust.
Uncut strips can result from a dull blade or incorrect mowing speed. Sharpen the blade and ensure you're mowing at a consistent pace.
