Ensure the fuel tank is filled, the choke is set to full, and the throttle is in the start position. Pull the starter handle firmly to start the engine.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than E10.
