Ensure the blower is on a flat surface. Move the choke lever to the "Full Choke" position, press the primer bulb until you see fuel, set the throttle to the start position, then pull the starter rope sharply until the engine starts.
Check the fuel level and ensure it's fresh. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. Ensure the air filter is clean and that the choke and throttle settings are correct.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and let it dry completely before reinstalling. Replace if damaged.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87, mixed with a high-quality 2-cycle engine oil in a 40:1 ratio.
Remove the muffler cover to access the spark arrestor. Use a wire brush to clean carbon deposits from the screen. Replace the screen if it's damaged.
This could be due to a clogged air filter, a dirty spark plug, or old fuel. Clean or replace the air filter, check and clean the spark plug, and use fresh fuel.
The spark plug should be inspected and cleaned every 25 hours of use and replaced every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
It is not recommended to use the blower in wet conditions as moisture can damage the engine and other components. Always operate in dry conditions.
Drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear fuel from the system. Clean the blower, remove the spark plug, and add a few drops of oil into the cylinder. Pull the starter rope to distribute the oil, then replace the spark plug without connecting the wire.
Check for loose or damaged parts, including the fan and housing. Tighten any loose screws and bolts. If the problem persists, consult a service technician.
