To start the McCulloch M6553 D Lawn Mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the oil level is adequate, and the spark plug is connected. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours of operation or at the beginning of each mowing season.
Check if there is enough fuel, the spark plug is connected, and the air filter is clean. Ensure the choke lever is in the correct position.
Disconnect the spark plug, tilt the mower on its side, and use a brush or hose to remove grass and debris from the cutting deck.
Clean the mower, drain the fuel tank, and change the oil before storing it in a dry, sheltered area. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental starts.
