After use, ensure the mower is turned off and cooled down. Use a brush to remove grass clippings and debris, and a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior.
Remove the blade following the manufacturer’s instructions, then use a sharpening tool or file to sharpen the blade evenly. Rebalance before reinstallation.
Adjust the cutting height by using the height adjustment lever located near the wheels, selecting the desired cutting height setting.
Drain fuel, clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, and store it in a dry place. Consider removing the spark plug and adding a few drops of oil into the cylinder.
Access the air filter cover, remove the old filter, and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is seated correctly. Secure the cover afterward.
Check for a damaged or unbalanced blade, loose components, or debris lodged in the mower deck. Tighten any loose parts and clean the deck.
