To start the lawn mower, ensure that the fuel tank is full, the oil level is adequate, and the spark plug is connected. Then, pull the starter handle firmly until the engine starts.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
Sharpen the mower blade every 25 hours of use or at the beginning of each mowing season to ensure optimal performance.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected properly, and inspect the air filter for blockages. Replace the spark plug if necessary.
To change the oil, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up, then turn it off. Remove the oil drain plug and allow the old oil to drain completely. Replace the plug and refill with new SAE 30 oil.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, tip the mower on its side, and use a brush or hose to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck. Avoid using high-pressure water as it may damage components.
Ensure the blade is sharp, mow when the grass is dry, and adjust the cutting height according to the grass length for optimal performance.
Excessive vibration could be due to an unbalanced blade. Check if the blade is damaged or worn and replace if necessary.
Drain the fuel tank, clean the mower thoroughly, and store it in a dry, sheltered location. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.
Replace the air filter every 25 hours of use or at least once per season to maintain engine efficiency.
