To start the McCulloch M46-110 CLASSIC Lawn Mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is adequate. Pull the safety lever towards the handle, then pull the starter rope firmly.
It is recommended to use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 90 or higher for optimal performance.
Routine maintenance includes checking the oil level before each use, cleaning the air filter regularly, and inspecting the blade for sharpness and damage.
If the mower does not start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and inspect the air filter for clogs.
Blades should be sharpened at the beginning of each mowing season or after approximately 25 hours of use.
It is not recommended to use the mower on wet grass as it can cause clumping and may damage the mower.
To change the oil, remove the spark plug wire, unscrew the oil cap, and tilt the mower to drain the old oil. Refill with SAE 30 oil, then replace the cap securely.
The recommended cutting height is between 25mm and 75mm, depending on the type of grass and desired lawn finish.
After use, turn off the mower and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to rinse the underside of the deck and remove grass clippings. Dry thoroughly before storage.
Excessive vibration may indicate that the blade is unbalanced or damaged. Check the blade for any bends or damage and ensure it is tightened securely.
