To start the brushcutter, ensure the choke is engaged, the primer bulb is pressed several times until fuel is visible, and the switch is in the 'on' position. Pull the starter rope firmly until the engine starts.
The correct fuel mixture is 40:1, meaning 40 parts unleaded gasoline to 1 part two-stroke engine oil.
First, ensure the brushcutter is turned off and disconnected. Remove the trimmer head cover, take out any remaining line, and replace it with new line by following the directional arrows on the spool.
Check the fuel level and mixture, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and verify the air filter is not clogged. Also, make sure the choke and primer bulb are used correctly during start-up.
Blades should be inspected and sharpened after every 20-25 hours of use or if you notice a decrease in cutting performance.
It is recommended to use high-quality two-stroke engine oil designed specifically for air-cooled engines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with warm soapy water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.
Check to ensure the cutting attachment is properly balanced and securely fastened. Inspect the drive shaft and gearbox for any damage or wear.
Drain the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor. Clean the unit and store it in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
Regularly check and clean the air filter, inspect the spark plug and replace if necessary, ensure the cutting line or blade is sharp, and use the correct fuel mixture.
