Ensure the fuel tank is filled, the spark plug is connected, and the throttle is in the start position. Pull the starter rope firmly to start the engine.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is not dirty or worn, and verify that the air filter is clean. Also, make sure the choke is properly engaged.
Blades should be sharpened at least once per mowing season or more often if the grass appears torn or uneven after cutting.
It is recommended to use SAE 30 motor oil for optimal performance in warmer temperatures. For colder climates, consider using SAE 10W-30.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm, soapy water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Check for loose bolts and ensure that the blade is balanced and not bent. Tighten any loose components and replace damaged blades.
Locate the height adjustment lever near each wheel and move it to the desired cutting height, ensuring all wheels are set to the same level.
Possible causes include a clogged air filter, a dirty spark plug, or stale fuel. Clean or replace these components as necessary.
Drain the fuel tank, clean the mower thoroughly, and store it in a dry, sheltered area. Consider removing the spark plug and applying a few drops of oil to prevent corrosion.
Regularly check the oil level, clean or replace the air filter, inspect the spark plug, and sharpen the blade. Always follow the maintenance schedule in the user manual.
