Matsui TEL255 User Guide

To set up your Matsui TEL255 Telephone, connect the handset cord to the base and the handset, then plug the telephone line cord into the phone jack. Finally, connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet.
Ensure all cables are securely connected. Check if the telephone line is live by testing with another phone. If the problem persists, try resetting the device by unplugging it for a few minutes.
Locate the volume control on the side of the handset or base. Slide the control to adjust the ringer volume to your preferred level.
This message indicates that another handset or device is currently using the line. Ensure all other devices are hung up properly. If the issue persists, disconnect all devices and reconnect them one by one to identify the problem.
Press the 'Store' button, enter the phone number, and then press the desired speed dial key. Confirm by pressing 'Store' again.
The Matsui TEL255 requires power to operate. During a power outage, it will not function unless connected to a backup power source.
To reset the phone, unplug it from the power source and telephone line. Wait for 30 seconds, then reconnect. This will reset the device back to factory settings.
Use a soft, damp cloth to gently clean the handset and base. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture.
Press and hold the 'Voicemail' button on the handset. Follow the voice prompts to access your voicemail messages.
Ensure the phone is properly plugged into a working power outlet. If the display is still not working, try a different power adapter or contact customer support for further assistance.
