Ensure that large items do not block the spray arms, load larger and dirtier items in the bottom rack, and place cups and glasses in the top rack for optimal cleaning.
Check the drain hose for any blockages, ensure the filter is clean, and make sure the sink drain is not clogged.
Use a high-quality automatic dishwasher detergent; gel, powder, or tablet forms are suitable. Avoid using regular dish soap.
Clean the filter monthly to ensure optimal performance and prevent clogs. Remove it from the bottom of the dishwasher and rinse it under running water.
Spots on glassware can be caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid to help prevent this issue and check the water softener settings if applicable.
Ensure the door is closed properly, check the power supply, and verify that the water supply valve is open. Additionally, inspect the control panel for any error codes.
Regularly clean the filter, check and clean the spray arms, and wipe down the door seals. Run an empty cycle with vinegar to remove odors and buildup.
Unusual noises can be caused by items inside the dishwasher obstructing the spray arms or loose parts. Ensure all items are securely placed and inspect for any loose components.
Make sure the spray arms can rotate freely, check that the dishwasher is not overloaded, and confirm that the detergent is not expired or clumped.
Use the eco or energy-saving cycle, run the dishwasher with a full load, and avoid using the heated dry option. Additionally, ensure the water heater is set to an efficient temperature.
