To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat dial inside the fridge compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it.
Check that the fridge is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure the door seals are intact and not blocked by food items. Clean the condenser coils if they are dirty.
The Matsui MTR122W18E is a frost-free model and does not require manual defrosting. However, if ice build-up occurs, it should be addressed as needed.
Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and warm water to clean the interior and exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Remove and wash the shelves and drawers separately.
Regularly clean the interior and store food in sealed containers. Place an open box of baking soda inside the fridge to absorb odors.
Check for obstructions in the door seal and ensure the fridge is level. Adjust the leveling feet if necessary and ensure the shelves and drawers are correctly positioned.
Some noise, like humming or gurgling, is normal as the refrigerator operates. However, if the noise is loud or unusual, check for loose parts or contact customer service.
Ensure the fridge is placed away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the door closed as much as possible and maintain a full, but not overcrowded, interior.
Empty the refrigerator, unplug it, and clean the interior. Leave the doors slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the light cover inside. Remove the cover and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the fridge back in.
