Ensure that dishes are not blocking the spray arms and that pots and pans are angled so water runs off freely. Place larger items at the sides and back, and smaller items in the front.
Check for any blockages in the drain hose or filter. Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked. Clean the filter and remove any debris that might be causing a blockage.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom dish rack, twist and lift out the cylindrical filter, and rinse it under warm water to remove debris. Reinstall it by aligning it and twisting it back into place.
Use a high-quality detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. Avoid using regular dish soap, as it can cause excessive suds and damage the machine.
Ensure that the spray arms are not clogged and can rotate freely. Check if the detergent dispenser is opening properly. Also, ensure that the water supply is adequate and that the filter is clean.
Inspect the door seal for any damage or debris. Ensure that the dishwasher is level and not overfilled. Check hoses and connections for leaks. Replace any faulty seals or hoses.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms, check for blockages in the drain, inspect door seals for damage, and run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove limescale and odors.
Some noise is normal, especially during certain cycles. However, if the noise is loud or unusual, check for loose items in the dishwasher or ensure that the spray arms are not hitting dishes.
To reset the dishwasher, turn off the power by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then restore power and restart the cycle.
Check if the child lock feature is activated. If not, ensure that the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that there is power to the outlet. Try resetting the dishwasher by turning off the power.
