To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the fridge. Use the temperature up and down buttons to set your desired temperature. The ideal fridge temperature is between 3°C and 5°C.
First, check if the temperature setting is correct. Ensure the door seals are clean and not damaged. If the problem persists, clean the condenser coils located at the back of the fridge.
This model is usually frost-free, but if you notice excessive ice build-up, defrosting may be needed. Unplug the unit, remove food, and allow the ice to melt naturally.
Remove all food items and shelves. Use a mixture of warm water and baking soda to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing the shelves and food.
Unusual noises may be caused by items inside the fridge vibrating or by the fridge being unlevel. Ensure the fridge is on a stable surface and items inside are not touching the walls.
Keep the fridge away from heat sources, ensure the door seals are tight, and avoid leaving the door open for long periods. Also, ensure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked.
Check if the fridge is properly plugged in and the power is on. If the light bulb is burnt out, replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage.
After a power outage, wait for the power to return. The fridge should restart automatically. If not, check the circuit breaker and ensure the fridge is plugged in.
Regularly clean the condenser coils, check the door seals for tightness, and defrost if necessary. Also, clean the interior and exterior surfaces to ensure optimal performance.
Contact your local waste management facility for guidance on proper disposal or recycling of appliances. Some retailers also offer take-back services when you purchase a new unit.
