To assemble the Matsui M35MCW12E Food Chopper, first ensure all components are clean and dry. Attach the chopping blade to the base, place the bowl over the blade, and secure it by twisting it clockwise. Finally, place the lid on top and lock it into place by turning it clockwise until it clicks.
If the food chopper does not start, ensure that it is properly plugged in and that the lid is securely locked in place. Check that the bowl is correctly aligned with the base. If the issue persists, inspect the power cord for any damage.
Detach each component of the chopper for cleaning. The bowl, blade, and lid can be washed with warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher if they are dishwasher-safe. Wipe the base with a damp cloth, ensuring it is unplugged before cleaning.
Uneven chopping can occur if the bowl is overloaded or if the food pieces are too large. Ensure the bowl is filled to the recommended level and cut food into smaller pieces before chopping. Also, check that the blade is properly attached and not dull.
The Matsui M35MCW12E Food Chopper is not designed to crush ice. Using it for this purpose can damage the blades and motor. It is best to use a blender or ice crusher for such tasks.
If the blades become dull, they can either be sharpened using a sharpening tool or replaced. Contact Matsui customer service for replacement blades or take them to a professional sharpening service.
To store the food chopper safely, ensure it is clean and dry. Reassemble the components and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children to prevent accidents.
Unusual noises from the motor could indicate that the bowl is overloaded or that there is a foreign object inside. Turn off and unplug the chopper, remove any excess food, and check for obstructions before restarting it.
Some vibration is normal during operation, but excessive vibration can be caused by an uneven surface or an improperly assembled device. Ensure the chopper is on a flat surface and that all parts are correctly assembled.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning after each use and inspecting the blades periodically. If used frequently, check for wear and tear every few months and replace any damaged parts as needed to ensure optimal performance.
