To set the temperature, use the control panel located inside the freezer. It is recommended to maintain a temperature of -18°C for optimal food preservation. Adjust the dial accordingly and allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
First, ensure that the freezer is plugged in and the power supply is functioning. Check that the door is closing properly and the seals are intact. If the problem persists, try defrosting the freezer and cleaning the condenser coils.
To defrost the freezer, unplug it and remove all contents. Leave the door open and place towels around the base to absorb melting ice. Once defrosted, wipe the interior dry and plug the unit back in.
First, unplug the freezer. Remove all items and shelves. Clean the interior with a mixture of baking soda and water. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing shelves and plugging the freezer back in.
Check for obstructions or debris on the door seals. Clean the seals with warm soapy water. If the seal is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Ensure that the unit is level, as uneven placement can affect door alignment.
Excessive frost can be caused by frequent door openings or a faulty door seal. Minimize door openings and check the seals for damage. If necessary, perform a manual defrost to remove the frost buildup.
Unusual noises can be due to the unit not being level, items inside vibrating, or the fan motor. Ensure the freezer is level, rearrange contents to prevent vibration, and if noises persist, inspect the fan motor for issues.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 6 months. This includes cleaning the interior, checking door seals, and inspecting the condenser coils for dust accumulation.
Organize food by type and date, placing older items at the front. Use airtight containers to prevent freezer burn and label contents for easy identification. Maintain space between items for optimal air circulation.
Ensure the freezer is placed in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat sources. Keep the door closed as much as possible and maintain a consistent temperature setting. Regularly clean the condenser coils to improve efficiency.
