To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down buttons to set your desired temperature. For optimal food preservation, it's recommended to set the fridge to 3-5°C and the freezer to -18°C.
First, ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Check the temperature settings and make sure the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. If the problem persists, clean the condenser coils and inspect the door seals for any gaps or damage.
This model is typically frost-free, so manual defrosting is not necessary. However, if you notice ice build-up, ensure that the door is sealing properly and that the freezer is not overloaded.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down all surfaces, including shelves and drawers. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing food.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. To fix this, unplug the fridge and locate the drain hole at the back. Use a pipe cleaner or a turkey baster with warm water to clear the blockage.
Ensure that the door seals are intact and clean, keep the refrigerator well-organized to reduce door opening time, and maintain a few inches of clearance around the unit for proper air circulation. Regularly clean the condenser coils as well.
Unusual noises can be caused by the unit not being level or items inside vibrating. Ensure the refrigerator is on a flat surface and nothing inside is touching the walls. If the noise persists, check the fan and motor for obstructions or wear.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light bulb cover inside the fridge, unscrew it, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same wattage and size. Secure the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Check for obstructions or overloading on the shelves. Inspect the door seals for dirt or damage. Clean the seals with warm soapy water and ensure the fridge is level. If the issue continues, the seals may need replacement.
It's recommended to let hot food cool down to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator. Storing hot food directly can raise the internal temperature and affect the efficiency of the fridge.
