To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat control knob inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the knob to the desired setting, with a higher number indicating a colder temperature. Allow the refrigerator to adjust for a few hours before checking the temperature.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set to an appropriate temperature. Clean the condenser coils at the back of the refrigerator if they are dusty or dirty. If the issue persists, consider contacting customer service for assistance.
Manual defrosting is required when the frost buildup reaches about 0.25 inches (6mm) thick. To defrost, unplug the refrigerator, remove all items, and allow the ice to melt. Clean and dry the freezer before plugging it back in.
Pooling water may be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clean the drain hole located at the back of the refrigerator using a pipe cleaner or a similar tool to remove any obstructions.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Remove the light cover by unscrewing it or releasing the clips. Replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching the wall or cabinets, which can cause vibrations. Check for loose items inside that might be rattling. If the noise continues, it could be due to the compressor or fan, and you should contact a technician.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the condenser coils at the back or bottom. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris. Clean the coils twice a year to maintain efficiency.
It is not recommended to store hot food directly in the refrigerator as it can raise the internal temperature, affecting cooling efficiency. Allow food to cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
Ensure the door seals are clean and intact to prevent cold air leakage. Keep the refrigerator moderately full to maintain temperature stability. Regularly clean the condenser coils and avoid placing the refrigerator near heat sources.
Store raw meat and seafood on the bottom shelf to prevent drips. Dairy products and eggs should be placed in the main compartment rather than the door. Keep fruits and vegetables in designated crisper drawers. Maintain space around items for air circulation.
