To start a wash cycle, first load the dishwasher and add detergent. Close the door securely, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the "Start" button. The cycle will begin after a brief delay.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and ensure it is not kinked. Clean the filter and check the sink drain for clogs. Ensure the drain pump is functioning. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack to access the filter system. Twist and pull out the cylindrical filter, rinse it under running water, and remove any debris. Reassemble the filter system and ensure it is securely in place before the next use.
To prevent spotting, use a rinse aid to improve the drying process. Ensure that the water temperature is sufficiently hot (around 120°F/49°C) and use a high-quality detergent. Avoid overloading the dishwasher to ensure proper water circulation.
Unusual noises can result from items touching each other or the spray arms. Make sure dishes are loaded properly and not obstructing the spray arms. Check for any loose parts or foreign objects in the dishwasher.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the "Start/Reset" button for about 3 seconds until the indicators on the control panel light up and then go off. Wait a few minutes, and then restart the cycle.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, checking and cleaning the spray arms, wiping down the door seal, and using a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent buildup.
Load large items at the sides and back, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Place cups and glasses on the top rack, and pots and plates on the bottom rack. Do not overcrowd to allow water to reach all items.
Check for obstructions around the door seal and ensure the racks are pushed in completely. Inspect the door latch for damage. If the issue persists, it may require adjustment or replacement by a professional.
Ensure the hot water supply is adequate and use a rinse aid. Select a drying option if available, and open the dishwasher door slightly after the cycle to allow steam to escape, improving drying results.
