To reset your Logik LBS13E Scale, remove the batteries and wait for about 10 seconds. Reinsert the batteries and turn on the scale. This should reset it to factory settings.
First, check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace them if necessary. Ensure the battery contacts are clean and free from corrosion.
To calibrate the scale, place it on a flat, hard surface. Turn it on and wait for it to zero out. If there is a calibration feature, follow the specific instructions in the user manual.
Error codes usually indicate overloading or instability. Remove excess weight and ensure the scale is on a stable, flat surface. Consult the manual for specific error code meanings.
Press the unit button on the scale to toggle between units. Ensure the scale is on when changing units. The available units are usually grams, ounces, and pounds.
Regular maintenance includes keeping the scale clean and dry, replacing batteries as needed, and storing it in a safe, dry place when not in use. Avoid placing it in humid or wet environments.
Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the surface of the scale. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the scale in water. Ensure the scale is off and the batteries are removed before cleaning.
It is not recommended to use the scale on a carpet as it can affect accuracy. Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface for best results.
Ensure the scale is on a level surface and not exposed to vibrations. Check the battery level and replace them if necessary. Recalibrate the scale if needed.
For items that exceed the scale's capacity, divide the item into smaller portions and weigh each portion separately. Add the weights together to get the total weight.
