Ensure the fryer is unplugged and cooled. Remove the oil and wash the basket and lid in warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
The oil should be filled between the minimum and maximum levels indicated inside the fryer.
Ensure the basket is clean and dry before use. You can also lightly coat the basket with oil to help prevent sticking.
Check if the fryer is properly plugged in and the power switch is on. Ensure that the thermostat is set to the desired temperature.
Allow the oil to cool, then pour it into a sealed container and dispose of it according to local regulations for oil disposal.
It is recommended to use liquid oil. Solid fats can be used but may require pre-melting and can solidify, affecting performance.
Ensure the fryer is clean and not overfilled with oil. Check that the oil is fresh and suitable for deep frying.
The oil should be changed after 8-10 uses or if it becomes dark, has an off-smell, or foams excessively.
Generally, 160°C for vegetables, 170°C for chicken, and 180°C for fish and fries. Adjust according to recipe requirements.
Check the power cord and outlet. Ensure the power switch is on. Test with another appliance to verify outlet functionality.
