To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the fridge. Use the up and down arrows to set the desired temperature. The ideal fridge temperature is between 3°C and 5°C.
First, ensure that the fridge is plugged in and the power is on. Check the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Ensure that the vents inside the fridge are not blocked by food items. If the problem persists, consider contacting a technician.
To defrost the freezer, remove all food items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to let the ice melt naturally. Place towels at the bottom to soak up the water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
Use a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water to clean the interior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
If your refrigerator model includes a water filter, it should be replaced every 6 months or as indicated by the filter change indicator. Regular replacement ensures clean and fresh-tasting water.
Unusual noises can be caused by several factors, such as items inside the fridge vibrating or the compressor cycling on and off. Ensure the fridge is level and that nothing is blocking the fan. If the noise persists, consult a technician.
It is not recommended to store hot food directly in the refrigerator, as it can raise the internal temperature and affect food safety. Allow food to cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
Ensure the fridge is not placed near heat sources like ovens or direct sunlight. Keep the fridge door closed as much as possible and ensure the door seals are in good condition. Set the temperature to the recommended setting to avoid overcooling.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear any obstructions in the drain. Also, ensure that the fridge is level to prevent water from accumulating in one spot.
To reset the alarm, press the alarm button on the control panel. This will silence the alarm and reset it. If the alarm continues to sound, check the door seals and temperature settings.
