To adjust the temperature settings, locate the temperature control knob inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the knob clockwise to decrease the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. Ensure that the refrigerator is not too full to allow proper air circulation.
First, check that the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure the door seals are clean and sealing properly. If the problem persists, try defrosting the unit to clear any ice build-up that might be affecting airflow.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months. Dust and dirt can accumulate on the coils, reducing efficiency. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to gently clean the coils located at the back or beneath the refrigerator.
To defrost the refrigerator, turn it off and remove all food items. Leave the doors open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels at the base to absorb water. Once defrosted, clean the interior before turning the refrigerator back on.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Locate the drain at the back of the fridge and clear any obstructions using warm water or a pipe cleaner. Ensure the fridge is level to prevent water accumulation.
Ensure the refrigerator is on a level surface and not touching any walls or cabinets. Check that all internal components are secure and not vibrating. If noise persists, contact customer service for further assistance.
The refrigerator uses a standard 15-watt appliance bulb. To replace it, unplug the refrigerator, remove the light cover, unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one. Ensure the bulb is screwed in securely before replacing the cover.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources such as ovens and direct sunlight. Ensure good air circulation around the appliance and maintain the recommended temperature settings. Regularly clean the condenser coils and ensure the door seals are intact.
Inspect the seal for cracks or wear. If damaged, it should be replaced to ensure efficient cooling. Purchase a compatible replacement seal and follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation.
Before moving, empty the refrigerator and secure all shelves and compartments. Keep the unit upright to prevent compressor oil from entering the cooling lines. Use a dolly for safe transport and ensure the appliance is secured to avoid tipping.
