To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator compartment. Use the up and down buttons to set your desired temperature. The default recommended temperature is 4°C for the refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer.
Ensure that the doors are sealing properly and not being left open for extended periods. Check if the vents inside the fridge are unobstructed. Verify that the temperature settings are correct, and clean the condenser coils if necessary.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Access the coils by removing the back panel or the grille at the bottom front. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to gently remove dust and debris from the coils. Reattach the panel or grille after cleaning.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to let the ice melt. Place towels on the floor to catch dripping water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Water pooling can occur due to a blocked defrost drain. Check the drain for clogs and clear any blockages with a turkey baster filled with warm water. Ensure that the drain hose is correctly positioned and not kinked.
The water filter should be replaced every 6 months to ensure optimal performance and water quality. Consult your user manual for specific instructions on replacing the filter.
Check if the refrigerator is level and ensure that it is not touching the wall or cabinets, which could cause vibrations. Listen for unusual noises from the compressor or fan, and consult a technician if the problem persists.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources. Keep the doors closed as much as possible and ensure the seals are tight. Set the temperature to the recommended settings and regularly clean the condenser coils.
First, check if the bulb is burnt out and replace it if necessary. If the bulb is fine, verify that the refrigerator is receiving power. If the issue persists, it may be a problem with the door switch or wiring, which may require professional assistance.
Store food in airtight containers and regularly check for expired items. Clean the interior with a baking soda solution. Place an open box of baking soda inside the fridge to absorb odors.
