To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, and select your desired wash cycle using the control panel. Then press the 'Start' button to begin the cycle.
Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages and ensure the air gap is clear. Clean the filter and remove any debris from the bottom of the dishwasher.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack, turn the filter counterclockwise, and lift it out. Rinse it under running water and use a soft brush to remove debris. Reinstall by aligning and turning clockwise.
Residue can result from improper loading, using too much or too little detergent, or hard water. Ensure the spray arms are not blocked and use a rinse aid to improve cleaning.
To reset the dishwasher, press the 'Heated Dry' button followed by 'Normal Wash', then 'Heated Dry' and 'Normal Wash' again. Close the door to run a short diagnostic cycle, which will reset the control panel.
Ensure dishes are properly loaded and not touching each other. Check for loose utensils or small items in the bottom of the dishwasher. Inspect the spray arms for obstructions and make sure they can rotate freely.
Perform maintenance every 3-6 months, which includes cleaning the filters, checking the spray arms, and inspecting the door gasket for damage or debris.
Check if the door is fully closed and latched, ensure the power supply is connected, and verify that the control panel is not locked. If the problem persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting.
Place large items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, and smaller items like glasses and bowls on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms and that they are not nested together.
Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed on the top rack. This will help dissolve mineral buildup and remove stains.
