To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat dial inside the fridge compartment. Turn the dial to the desired setting, with higher numbers providing colder temperatures.
Check if the thermostat is set correctly, ensure the door seals are intact, and verify that the appliance is not overloaded. Additionally, clean the condenser coils to improve cooling efficiency.
To defrost, unplug the fridge and remove all contents. Allow the ice to melt naturally, or use a bowl of hot water to speed up the process. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
Unusual noises could be due to the fridge not being level, items rattling inside, or the compressor operating. Ensure the fridge is stable and not touching any walls or cabinets.
Organize food by placing raw meats on the bottom shelf, dairy products and leftovers on the middle shelves, and fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers. This helps maintain food safety and freshness.
Ensure the door seals are tight, avoid placing hot food inside, and keep the fridge away from heat sources. Regularly defrosting and cleaning can also enhance efficiency.
Check the bulb and replace it if necessary. If the bulb is functioning but the light is still not working, inspect the door switch and wiring for any issues.
To reset the alarm, press the alarm button or close the fridge door properly to ensure no alarms are triggered by temperature fluctuations.
Pooling water may be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clear any obstructions in the drain hole located at the back of the fridge to ensure proper drainage.
