To perform a factory reset, turn off the radio, press and hold the 'FUNC' key while turning the power back on. This will reset the transceiver to its default settings.
The Icom IC-2400A has a maximum power output of 50 watts on VHF and 35 watts on UHF.
Check the microphone connection and ensure it is secure. Adjust the microphone gain settings and make sure the speaker is not obstructed or damaged.
Press the 'VFO' button, select the desired frequency, press 'FUNC' followed by 'MW' to store the frequency into a memory channel.
This may be due to a failing internal battery. Replacing the battery should resolve the issue and retain memory settings.
