To perform a factory reset on your Huawei Y5 AMN-LX2, go to Settings > System > Reset > Factory data reset. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. Ensure you back up your data before proceeding.
First, check if the charging cable and adapter are working by testing with another device. Clean the charging port for any debris. If the problem persists, try using a different power source or visit a service center.
Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the phone. Use the SIM eject tool to open the tray. Place the SIM card into the tray and insert it back into the phone.
Your device may be running slowly due to background apps. Close unnecessary apps, clear cache in Settings > Storage, and restart your phone. Consider factory resetting if performance issues persist.
Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi. Turn on Wi-Fi and select your network from the list. Enter the password if prompted and tap Connect.
Navigate to Settings > System > Software update. Tap on 'Check for updates' and follow the prompts to download and install if an update is available. Ensure your phone is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
To free up storage, delete unused apps, clear app cache, and move media files to an SD card or cloud storage. Use the Phone Manager app for additional cleanup options.
Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously until you hear a shutter sound or see a screenshot animation. The screenshot will be saved in the Gallery.
Remove any case on the phone, close unused apps, and reduce screen brightness. Avoid using the phone while charging and keep it in a cool environment. If the issue persists, contact Huawei support.
Go to Settings > About phone and tap on 'Build number' seven times until you see a message that developer options are enabled. The Developer options will now be available in the System settings.
