Refer to the assembly manual provided with your elliptical. Ensure all parts are included and follow the step-by-step instructions. Using a rubber mallet can help with inserting stubborn parts.
Check that the power cord is securely plugged into both the wall outlet and the elliptical. Ensure the outlet is functional by testing another device. If the problem persists, inspect the power switch and fuse.
Regularly clean the machine using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Lubricate moving parts as recommended in the user manual. Inspect bolts and screws periodically for tightness.
Enter the settings menu on the console, select 'Calibration', and follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the resistance to factory settings.
Check for loose bolts and tighten them. Inspect the stride rails and wheels for debris or wear. Lubricate any squeaky joints according to the maintenance section of the manual.
Ensure the floor is flat and stable. Adjust the levelers on the bottom of the elliptical to stabilize it. Tighten any loose components.
Hold down the 'Stop' and 'Enter' buttons simultaneously for several seconds until the console resets. Release the buttons when the display turns off and then on again.
Wipe down the machine after each use with a soft cloth. Clean the console with a non-abrasive cleaner weekly. Avoid using excessive water or solvents.
Loosen the adjustment knobs located near the pedals, slide the pedals to the desired position, and then retighten the knobs securely.
Ensure the power is on and the machine is in workout mode. Check the connection between the console and the resistance motor. If the problem persists, contact Horizon Fitness support for further assistance.
