If the display screen is not turning on, ensure that the device is charged. Connect the charger to the charging port and allow it to charge for a few minutes before attempting to power it on again.
To adjust the brightness of the display, navigate to the settings menu on the device and select the display brightness option. From there, you can increase or decrease the brightness level as needed.
The FLIR VS80 is compatible with a variety of interchangeable probes, including those with different diameters and lengths to suit specific inspection needs. Check the user manual for a full list of compatible probes.
To capture images or videos, use the capture button located on the device handle. Press it once to capture an image or hold it down to start recording a video. Press again to stop recording.
After use, gently wipe the probe with a soft, damp cloth to remove any debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution. Ensure the probe is completely dry before storage.
To update the firmware, connect the device to a computer via USB. Download the latest firmware from the FLIR website and follow the instructions provided to complete the update process.
Ensure the probe is properly connected to the device. If it remains non-responsive, try connecting a different probe to determine if the issue lies with the probe or the device. Consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Store the FLIR VS80 Kit Videoscope in its protective case, ensuring all components are clean and dry. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the device and probes after each use, checking for firmware updates, and inspecting the device and accessories for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the battery is charged and functioning properly.
