Flir ADK Getting Started

To set up the FLIR ADK Camera, first ensure all cables are connected correctly. Attach the power supply, connect the Ethernet cable to a compatible network switch or PC, and install the necessary drivers from the FLIR website.
To update the firmware, download the latest firmware version from the FLIR support page. Use the FLIR software to upload and install the firmware on the camera, following the on-screen instructions.
Check the power connections and ensure the power supply is functioning. Verify that the power cable is securely connected to both the camera and the power source. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for troubleshooting steps or contact FLIR support.
Adjust the camera settings such as exposure, gain, and brightness using the FLIR software. Ensure that the lens is clean and properly focused. Utilize the camera's calibration features as needed for optimal image quality.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a lens cleaning solution to gently wipe the lens. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the surface. Regularly inspect the lens for dust and debris.
The FLIR ADK Camera supports integration with third-party software via standard protocols such as GigE Vision. Ensure the software supports these protocols and follow the integration guidelines provided by FLIR.
Check the network connection for stability. Ensure that the Ethernet cable is not damaged and that the network bandwidth is sufficient. Update the camera's firmware and software to the latest versions to address performance issues.
To perform a factory reset, access the camera settings through the FLIR software and look for the factory reset option. Follow the prompts to restore the camera to its original settings.
Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the protective case if provided, and ensure the camera is free from dust and moisture.
Ensure that the Ethernet cable is properly connected and the network settings are configured correctly. Verify that the camera's IP address is set within the same range as the PC. Restart both the camera and the PC if necessary.
