To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom of the opening. Pull it out, remove any lint by hand or using a vacuum, and then replace it securely before using the dryer again.
For delicate items, use the 'Delicate' or 'Low Heat' setting to prevent damage. Always check garment labels for drying instructions.
Ensure that the dryer is plugged in and the power is on. Check the door is fully closed and the start button is pressed firmly. If the problem persists, check the circuit breaker or contact customer service for assistance.
To reduce wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer as soon as the cycle ends. You can also use the 'Wrinkle Guard' feature if available, which tumbles clothes intermittently after the cycle.
Check for foreign objects in the drum or lint filter. Ensure the dryer is level and not overloaded. If the noise persists, consult the user manual or contact a service technician.
The exhaust vent should be cleaned every 3-6 months to ensure optimal performance and prevent fire hazards. Use a vent brush or hire a professional if necessary.
It's not recommended to dry shoes in the dryer as it can damage both the shoes and the machine. Instead, air dry or use a dryer rack designed for shoes if available.
Check if the dryer is set to a no-heat setting. Ensure the lint filter and exhaust vent are clean. If the issue continues, it might be a problem with the heating element, and you should contact a technician.
The moisture sensor is usually automatic. Simply select a drying program that uses the sensor, and the dryer will stop when clothes are dry. Refer to the user manual for specific program details.
To prevent static cling, use fabric softener sheets or dryer balls. Avoid over-drying clothes, and if possible, remove synthetic materials before the cycle ends.
