To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down buttons to set the desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
Check if the vents inside the refrigerator are blocked by food items. Ensure the door seals are clean and not damaged. Also, verify that the temperature settings are correctly set. If the issue persists, it might require professional service.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to maintain optimal performance. Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
To defrost the freezer, first remove all contents. Turn off the refrigerator and leave the freezer door open to let the ice melt. Place towels around the base to absorb water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before restarting the appliance.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Locate the drain hole inside the refrigerator and clear any obstructions using a pipe cleaner or warm water.
Check the door gaskets for any visible signs of damage or dirt. Clean the seals with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. If the gaskets are worn, consider replacing them to ensure a proper seal.
The Fagor 1FFD-20 typically uses LED lighting. To replace, disconnect the power, remove the protective cover, and replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage.
Regularly clean the interior with a solution of baking soda and water. Keep an open box of baking soda inside to absorb odors, and ensure food is covered or sealed properly.
Check the water supply line for any blockages or leaks. Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the arm or switch is in the correct position. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact service support.
To reset the refrigerator, unplug it from the power outlet for about 5 minutes. After plugging it back in, check if the settings are correct and adjust if necessary.
