To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator. Turn it clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to raise it. Allow 24 hours for the changes to take full effect.
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Check for any obstructions in the airflow vents and ensure the door seals are clean and intact. If the problem persists, consider consulting a technician.
Defrost the refrigerator when the frost buildup exceeds 0.5 cm (1/4 inch). This usually occurs every few months, depending on usage and humidity levels.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food items and shelves. Clean the interior with a mixture of warm water and mild detergent, then rinse with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before replacing shelves and food.
Unusual noises can result from the refrigerator being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or the compressor operating at high capacity. Make sure the refrigerator is level and that items inside are not touching each other or the walls.
Ensure the door seals are airtight, avoid placing hot food inside, and maintain adequate space around the refrigerator for ventilation. Regularly defrost to prevent excess frost buildup.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Clean the drain by flushing it with warm water and ensure it is free of any obstructions.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Inspect the seal for any damage or debris. Clean it with warm, soapy water and ensure it is dry. If the seal is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Adjust the door hinges if necessary for proper alignment.
Regularly clean the interior and avoid storing strong-smelling foods without proper sealing. Place an open box of baking soda inside to absorb odors.
