To adjust the temperature settings, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. Press the temperature button to cycle through the available settings until the desired temperature is reached.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Inspect the temperature settings to ensure they are correctly set. Clean the condenser coils at the back of the fridge, and ensure there is enough space around the fridge for ventilation.
Ensure the freezer door is sealing properly and not left open. Avoid overloading the freezer, which can obstruct air circulation. Regularly defrost the freezer if frost buildup exceeds 0.5 inches.
Unusual noises can be caused by a number of factors such as the refrigerator not being level, items inside the fridge vibrating, or the compressor cycling. Check and adjust the leveling feet and ensure items are not touching the walls inside.
It's recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months to ensure efficient operation. Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
For optimal food preservation, set the refrigerator compartment to 37°F (3°C) and the freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
Check if the door gaskets are clean and not sticky. Use warm soapy water to clean them. Additionally, ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent undue pressure on the door seals.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible and ensure the door seals are intact. Regular cleaning of the condenser coils also helps improve efficiency.
First, check if the refrigerator is receiving power. If the power is fine, replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. If the problem persists, contact a service technician.
To manually defrost, first unplug the refrigerator. Remove all items from the freezer. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt. Use towels to soak up water and once defrosting is complete, clean the interior before plugging the refrigerator back in.
